Vor-Tech® has been designed to offer incredible breathability and efficient waterproofing properties. Vor-Tech® fabric is a 2 layer structure which involves the lamination of the VorTech® membrane with an outer nylon fabric providing wind and water resistance. The Vor-Tech® membrane coating is micro-porous*, allowing the cap to “breathe” as vapourised moisture from the head passes rapidly through the fabric to the outside, ensuring the insulating layers keep you dry and comfortable. This fabric utilises a durable water repellent (DWR), causing water to bead and run off the cap. Water is unable to soak into the weave of the outer fabric for the lifetime of the product.
